Obamabots already planning on national holiday celebrating Obama
By Rizzuto

Mon Nov 10, 2008 - It's definitely a sign of sickness that there are those amongst us ready to create a national holiday celebrating the election of a sitting president who has yet to even take office. It seems sort of Roman doesn't it? I'd love to see the national address Obama gives from the White House on his holiday. Would it be a speech on the importance of celebrating, um...him? Why don't we just name a month after him while we're at it. We'll call it Obamuary.

This from The Topeka Capital-Journal:
Plans are being made to promote a national holiday for Barack Obama, who will become the nation's 44th president when he takes the oath of office Jan. 20.

"Yes We Can" planning rallies will be at 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. every Tuesday at the downtown McDonald's restaurant, 1100 Kansas Ave., until Jan. 13. The goals are to secure a national holiday in Obama's honor, to organize celebrations around his inauguration and to celebrate the 200th birthday of President Abraham Lincoln, who was born on Feb. 12 1809.
Among many of those on the left, it seems that Bush Derangement Syndrome has given way to Obama Adulation Syndrome.
