Obama: Isn't China just great?
By Rizzuto

Mon Aug 25, 2008 - Obama sings the praises of China for their focus on infrastructure:

Why don't we do that? Because the American government doesn't have the power to confescate that the Chinese government does. What the Chinese do is like eminent domain on crack. Is Obama really advocating for that kind of power of confescation by the federal government, or is he just completely ignorant?

Anyone remember what the Chinese government did to build the Olympic structures? The Epoch Times writes in April of this year:
While the Olympic Games will open in less than four months in Beijing, authorities continue to demolish homes on the pretext of preparing for the games.

Wang Lianmin, a resident in Yangshan Village about two miles from the Olympic Stadium, had his house demolished on April 17. And Ni Yulan and her husband were detained because of their attempts to stop their home from being demolished the previous day.
And yeah, it's Chinese infrastructure that's drawing the companies, not the near slave wages and massive labor surplus.

Hmmm...I think this is a prime opportunity for a Barack Obama/"Stacy's Mom" parody.

"Mao Ze-dong has got it goin' on..."
