Hezbollah Grows Five Times Stronger
By Verv

Mon Aug 18, 2008 - And so the terror threat grows while we are about to elect a dove to the White House:
In terms of weaponry, strategic and political positioning, and its ever-expanding international reach; Hezbollah is "five times more capable today," than it was at the beginning of the July 2006 war with Israel: A fact, according to experts, that prompted Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak to tell his troops during a Tuesday morning tour of positions along the Golan Heights, "It's not for nothing that we're training here."
Normally this is just discomforting news. For the past 8 years we've had a President who is responsive to the international terrorist threat and does their best to counter it through any pressure, whether diplomatic or military.

Now we're going to have “Mr. Talky Pants” Obama in the office whose idea of foreign politics is looking to Europe with hopeful eyes, promising not to alienate them (and thus not take necessary actions -- Europe has been appeasing their enemies since WWI -- and not learning any lessons).

Obama will be a clear signal to the anti-US, anti-Israel crowd the world over: funnel that money, deal those arms; what's Barack going to do? Threaten to talk with us in our own country, on our own terms, with no expectations?

It would be a more light-hearted matter if we were talking about Monsieur Obama or Herr Obama because countries like France and Germany do not need to be active in international affairs. We've just put them at the kid's table and let them whine when they don't get their way... But what's going to happen now when under Obama the US leaves China, Russia and Iran alone to deal with pressing global issues?
