Edwards' lack of action is telling
By Rizzuto

Wed Jul 23, 2008 - A seasoned trial lawyer gets accused of having an affair and fathering a child in a widely distributed national publication. Such a devastating accusation, if untrue, would undoubtedly result in an immediate denial and filing a libel lawsuit. Edwards' lack of such action speaks volumes about the legitimacy of The National Enquirer's claims that they busted Edwards red handed visiting his mistress on Monday in an LA hotel.

When confronted with questions about the Enquirer's article, Edwards didn't offer a denial, but rather an artful "no comment." While not an admission of guilt, it's damn close.

Also, you have to figure that the Enquirer knows enough to not make false claims of this magnitude. If proven false, Edwards would own the Inquirer after he was done with them.
